Exploring African culture through dance
The Fort Wayne Dance Collective is making local residents more aware of African culture in an upcoming Master Class.
You don’t have to travel overseas to get a taste of African culture.
The Fort Wayne Dance Collective is hosting a Master Class on African Dance with guest artist Kenyetta Abdul-Azeez to help local residents experience some of the culture’s traditional dance forms and music.
This high energy class will take place on Tuesday, Dec. 4, from 7:15-8:30 p.m. at 437 E. Berry St. It costs $12, and drop-ins are welcome.Â
